Should we still have slavery today?

Today in our talking about freedom argued about the pros and cons of slavery. We talked about it as if we were the people that abolished slavery and who opposed it. Most of the arguments that were opposing slavery talked about how it was unconstitutional and shouldn't be done. The other majority of the class talked about the economic standpoint of slavery and how it benefited the economy because it was free labor.

I talked about it as if I were to be Samuel Morse a painter and the inventor of morse code. He was one of the most important person of that time and was pro slavery. He believed that slavery was no a sin and that not owning slaves was a sin. In my opinion slavery should have never existed and should never exist again. There is no place in this earth for something so unconstitutional, immoral and inhumane.
