Freedom Summer Movie

The movie is a based on the events that happened in 1964. In the summer of that year many activists and protesters took the schools of Mississippi. This movie portrays how the exclusion of African Americans made the people feel and how they reacted. It was important to remark that this movement and series of events could have had a negative impact on African Americans. If things would have not gone as planned things could have gone in the opposite directions and voting rights would have never been approved because of the violent acts and unconstitutional acts black people could have done. In my opinion based on what I've researched on the events that happened during that era this movie is the closest representation to what occurred in that period of time.
