Mock Trial

Swann v Backy . During the mock trial of today it was heavily discussed and argued that race, sex or gender should not be a factor that should be involved for admission in schools. It was also talked about how most African Americans were getting rejected from all of this schools had higher credentials, grade point average and better overall qualifications. The Swann basically said that all of the claims being said by the accuser were false and that no racial profiling was made during the admissions process. Overall I believe that racism existed during that era because proportionally there were many more white students than black students. I think what was going on was very unconstitutional and discrimination should have been banned much earlier in history along with imposing harsh punishments to those who were to break the law.
