During the EOTO presentations of today it was a Civil Rights Era day. The presenters spoke about the most important events and people that lived and happened during the civil rights era . Some of the events were the Marches from Selma to Montgomery because of voter frustration. The worst part about this event was Bloody Sunday because it took the life's of many and showed the Cruelty America had. Then the Montgomery Bus Boycott which were protests African Americans made and didn't ride the bus. After that the Greensboro Lunch Counter sit in and the freedom riders were two other key events of the Civil Right Era that shaped America. The people that lived during the civil rights and were important were Bayard Rustin, Rosa Parks, Malcom X, Emmet Till and Medgar Evers each one of them had an impact in all of the events that happened during that time. In my opinion all of these people were leaders and they shouldn't have died the way they did. It is a shame that America was like that back then.
